Those in Our Own Backyards

Nissim Mossek (famous Israeli documentary maker) follows around Tzvi Misinai, a computer programmer in Israel, who has taken on a mission to find the tens of thousands of lost Jews now living secretly in Arab villages and Bedouin tribes in the West Bank. Many of these Jews, with names like "Muhammed" and "Aziz", have secret mezuzot, tefillin, siddurim, etc. and have mantained an astonishing amount of our halachot and minhagim. One village is probably completely descended from Bar Kochba.

Fascinating:

I did NOT mean to advocate the accuracy of this video. (Should I clarify?) I think it's interesting to note, and it's silly to write off without at least examining it.
The point is that the guy is not looking for products of Jewish fathers; he want to prove that some of these Arabs are children of these 'secret Jews', of people who did not intermarry and remained Jewish through the generations (I did some Googling after watching). As the Hebrew U geneticist points out, it totally could be that GENETICALLY they are Jewish. I am not advocating for Misinai- I do not think it is possible, if they are indeed genetically Jewish, to bring these people back. (And anyway, thanks to the assimilation rate in the USA and the 'culturization' of Judaism, we're losing exponentially more Jews than we have through this.)
No one would want these people to return to Israel, anyway- not Israel and not them.
